Arm prosthetics
Upper-limb prosthetics
Prosthetic arms for below-elbow and above-elbow limb loss, chosen around the tasks that matter to you: work, driving, caring for family, sport, or simply how you want to look.
Maegan calls you back personally, usually within one business day.

This can help if you have
- Below-elbow (transradial) or above-elbow (transhumeral) limb loss
- A congenital limb difference
- A prosthesis that is uncomfortable, heavy or rarely worn
- A specific task in mind, such as a tool, the gym or a bike
Types of upper-limb prostheses
Most people use more than one type for different tasks:
- Body-powered: a harness and cable operate the hand or hook. Durable, light and gives good feedback
- Myoelectric: a powered hand controlled by muscle signals in your residual limb
- Activity-specific: attachments for the gym, cycling, tools or sport
- Passive: natural-looking and light, useful for stabilising and carrying
Getting the most out of it
Upper-limb prostheses work best when they are fitted for clear goals and practised with. We can work with your occupational therapist and set realistic goals together.
