  • A spinal fracture that is being managed with a brace
  • Support after spinal surgery, when your surgeon prescribes it
  • Back support where your doctor recommends a brace

Types of spinal brace

Common designs include:

  • TLSO (thoracolumbosacral orthosis), supporting the middle and lower back
  • LSO (lumbosacral orthosis), supporting the lower back

Working with your treating team

Your surgeon or doctor decides whether you need a brace, what it must control and how long you wear it. We make and fit the brace to those instructions and keep them updated.
