Frequently asked questions
How long does the prosthetic fitting process take?+
A typical lower-limb fitting from initial assessment to delivery takes 4–8 weeks, depending on residual limb maturity, components selected, and funding approval timelines. We map this out for you at the first appointment.
Can NDIS fund my prosthetic?+
NDIS may fund prosthetic limbs as Assistive Technology when reasonable and necessary. We provide the AT assessment and quote your planner needs, and can also assist with QALS, DVA, and WorkCover applications.
Do you do home visits?+
Yes — mobile appointments are available across Maroochydore, Caloundra, Noosa, Buderim, Mooloolaba and surrounds. Initial assessments, scanning, fittings and reviews can all be done at your home.
